Winter Fun

Although we have not had the perfect winter, the north woods makes Winter Fun no matter what the weather.   • February 18th- 19th – Red Arrow Snowmobile ATV Club 42nd Annual Fish A Ree in Townsend Wisconsin

          Red Arrow Snowmobile ATV Club 42nd Annual Fish A Ree is Saturday February 18th and Sunday February 19th. The event will be held at the Townsend Town Hall located on Hwy 32 in                   downtown Townsend. There will be a Fishing Contest both days with prizes awarded in four categories. There will be a DJ and Music, Food, Meat Raffles, liquid refreshments, and a big ticket           raffle with lots of prizes. Saturday the event will run from 11AM to 6PM and Sunday from noon to 4PM.   • February 25th – 7th Annual Turkey Bowling in Riverview WisconsinYou have an opportunity to go Bowling on Ice with Frozen Turkeys! if that is not for you, perhaps just watching the fun would be ok. There will be meat raffles, gift certificates, food, fun and music! The event is held at the Town of Riverview Ice Rink and enclosed pavilion, 15471 State Hwy 32.  Contact Karen at 920-323-0336. 
  • February 25th-26th – Doty Dog Days of Winter in Doty WisconsinUpwards of fifty sled dog teams hailing from throughout the Midwest and beyond will converge on the Town of Doty for the inaugural running of the Doty Dog Days of Winter, Sled Dog Race & Winter Festival. Races will start at 10:00am on Saturday and 9:00am on Sunday and continue throughout the day. Race start and finish is located at the Doty Community Center, 14899 County Road T, Mountain, WI 54149.
